the entity…

welcoming the future, but respecting the past. the practice thrives on contemporary environmental, physical and social challenges that engage everyone’s sensibilities and space.

with intense determination, the practice strives to respond to these challenges with appropriate design concepts and solutions for the benefit of people existing in a very modern, exciting and complex world.

upon graduation with a bachelor of arts in architecture degree from the university of new mexico and a master of architecture degree from virginia Polytechnic institute and state university, Mark ventured to new york for his internship with hebert beckhard frank richlan and associates architects, the successor firm to marcel breuer, a world renowned master architect of the bauhaus generation. Design passion, clarity of vision and client requirements were of utmost importance, as well as an understanding of materials and methods of construction. The resulting architecture of such rigorous design investigations were meant to be everlasting, timeless and structural in nature. Design was a process that was never ending and always engaging, even through the course of construction to make ideas and concepts as refined and precise as possible. The practice has retained this thought and design process, modified by years of contemporary experience.
